a cat named simon is trying to break into my room. im sure thats poetry to someone.
hes lucky im not trying to sleep right now because im going to pet the hell out of him when im done with this.
i spend a good chunk of my life in florida right now reading derrick jensen on a porch in the rain. and then when its not raining im probably drinking and swimming. being retired is rough. the downside to this painfully easy life right now is that if i dont find a job and dog friendly home by the fifteenth ill most likely be back in new paltz for a month or two working a landscape job for my family before heading back down. if i do find a job/home then my visit up north will be sort and i will return to the southern way of life, which includes cheap(if not free) wine and beer, amazingly warm weather, ceement ponds, tiny lizards and tons of fun things to do. like volunteering at probably the biggest bike co-op i have ever seen. tons of cheap shows ( fake problems, ninja gun, whiskey & co., andrew jackson jihad and something else all in the next week).
theres going to be a lot of new paltz in gainesville today: me, mEgan, SAM, and andy folkz. repin.
im sure theres more.

im fairly sure thats some illuminati shit right there. maybe tom hanks will be in a movie about that.

thrusday was the one year anniversary of my spider bite/staph infect. one year later and i still have a totally gnarly bruise/scar.

now i just might be a bitter bitter asshole but...
earlier while i was trying to get back to sleep i heard children skipping down the street in front of my house singing "it's spring! it's spring!" over and over again.
if there was a single embodiment of everything i hate, it would be that group of children.
22 and im already a surly old codger. ive accepted it.
now off to work, and then making miles drink on the stoop? and make keri soup?

i dont want a job to support my eating or alcohol habits...i want a job to support my pop punk addiction. there are so many albums i want.....some many letter i want to send....guitar riffs i want to record.....
